Changing Minds. Changing Lives.
The Turning Heads Project is dedicated to helping people experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy to boost their self-esteem and confidence. The non-profit offers free professional photo shoots that include makeup and styling, as well as access to an online community. In addition to offering encouragement, their goal is to educate.
“A bald person deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated for their ability to embrace life, and to be proud of their bravery as they face obstacles head-on,” the co-founders say. “We celebrate baldness as a testament to living life authentically—not only surviving but thriving.”
