Beverly Battaglia, Ph.D. is a colon cancer survivor and author of Surviving: A Colon Cancer Diary. She is a retired social psychologist, consultant and university instructor. Beverly has also written Changing Lanes: Couples Redefining Retirement to aid couples in dealing with the unexpected and varied changes experienced in retirement.
Amy Law, M.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and is a partner at Desert Hematology – Oncology Medical Group, Inc. in Rancho Mirage, which is affiliated with Eisenhower Medical Center. She was the medical consultant and advisor contributing to the Surviving book and played a major role in Beverly’s cancer recovery.
