In this mindfulness and meditation class, you will cultivate relaxation, and as importantly, learn tools that can be applied in any situation in your life: at home, at work, at the doctor’s office, wherever. Using the same methods employed for thousands of years and made modern with evidence-based practices of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, you will experience more peace, more joy, more relaxation and less overwhelm.

Mindfulness coach and meditation teacher Felina Danalis has been touched by the cancer experience and is a long-time member of CancerPartners since 2011 when she moved to the Coachella Valley to be a caregiver for a family member living with cancer. She brings left-brain credentials (with degrees from Georgetown and Johns Hopkins Universities) and experience working with institutions like the World Bank, Google and the United Nations and right-brain compassion, humor and wisdom honed through more than a decade of Buddhist practice, study and teaching to her work with men and women of all walks of life. Since returning from Europe in 2011, she calls Palm Springs home. Her passion is helping people apply ancient wisdom teachings to the stresses of modern life, including illness, in practical and results-oriented ways through private coaching, workshops and classes.
